Anarchy interview with Brian Thompson
If anyone missed it here's the sailing anarchy interview with British round the world sailor Brian Thompson. Brian revels some of the stories from the Jules Verne trophy record and his sailing plans for the next few years. Well worth a watch.

Aussie Sharpies
Found a cool vid of an Aussie Sharpie. Quite a cool boat, really its just a big three man dinghy. Light weight with big sails. This boat goes fast!

Ben's in the Cup
For those who missed last weeks announcement Ben will be joining the Americas Cup World Series in August for the 2012/2013 edition of the event. He will head up the tean Ben Ainslie Racing (BAR). Ainslie's campaign will be underwritten by competitor Oracle racing and to secure their support he will race for Oracle in the 2013 Americas Cup on the new AC72s. Add your thought/comments below.
Amazing footage
I hope everyone's seen the amazing footage that everyone seems to compile now with their GoPro cameras. It seems now every punter in Hamble is attaching them onto their backstays for some sailing footage. Here is a video from GoPro showing the potential of these cool pieces of kit, albeit filming some more extreme sports.
Bank Pop
Speaking of tris, I'm sure everyone's aware of this but if you didn't know Banque Populaire V has just smashed the Jules Verne record. Here's some footage of the machine powering upwind. Look how high those bows are, and how flat their sail profile is! Awesome.
2 Hulls - 1 Sail
What better way to kick off the new blog than with a video of Australian match racer Torvar Mirsky talking us through the new Swedish Marstrom 32 cat! Multihulls have always been something I've avoided but since the Oracle guys dropped their jib in the DOG match and more recently with the Americas's Cup world series I've began to sit up and take notice. With projects like these and the SL33s I think it'll only be a matter of time before we see a lot more attention to cat and tris.
